Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Centaur Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with inbound freight companies to book the receipt of inbound stock in an organized manner.
- Receive and inspect ambient and cold chain products, checking for any obvious damages.
- Maintain accurate stock location numbering and sections.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track and manage stock levels.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth inventory replenishment and pick/pack processes.
- Ensure that all stock is properly stored and maintained, adhering to World Courier Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Train and motivate staff to achieve targets and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with management and internal/external service providers to resolve issues.
- Contribute to process improvements and maintain accurate records.
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in receiving/put away, inventory/replenishment, pick/pack processes, and booking transport for cold chain orders.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical product handling and SOPs.
- Current forklift license for counterbalance and electric reach trucks.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and responsibilities.
- Significant customer service and/or operations experience.
- Understanding of imports and exports processes and statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
