Job Title: Motor Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Engineer to join our team at Solus Accident Repair Centres. As a Motor Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction across our business and strategic partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine the necessary repairs.
  • Work closely with our Solus sites and approved repairers to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and build relationships.
  • Use state-of-the-art technology to receive and audit estimates, authorise repairs, and ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of insurance principles and motor claims knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Member of either IMI, IRTE, ATA, or VDA, or working towards (or willing to do so).
  • Good working knowledge of computerised damage estimating systems, including Audatex.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with a positive and self-confident approach when dealing with customers.
