Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Mental Health of Learning Disability (MHLD) service in West Kent.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing specialist psychological services to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect specialist psychology interventions to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Work closely with colleagues in MHLD and other services to ensure timely discharge back into the community for service users who are admitted to in-patient wards.
- Provide training placements for trainee clinical psychologists in this specialism.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative projects and personal interests, including research and publications.
You will be joining a friendly, passionate, and diverse team of colleagues who are committed to providing excellent care to our service users and their loved ones.
The MHLD service is divided into two hubs across Kent and Medway, both comprising psychology, psychiatry, and specialist nursing staff.
