Service Coordinator

About the Role
The GAP Group Limited is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our team. As a Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our lifting equipment services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and GAP colleagues to evaluate and prepare enquiries in line with customer requirements.
- Assess, quote, and oversee installation, load testing, and technically complex jobs.
- Ensure engineers have the necessary equipment, support, and information to complete works on schedule, on budget, and in accordance with the job specification.
- Handle telephone and email enquiries, providing accurate information on the services offered by TIC.
- Prepare and submit necessary RAMS, permits, and paperwork in advance of the job to ensure works can commence as scheduled.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Proven experience in an administrative role scheduling works, managing team diaries, and dealing with customer queries.
- Excellent customer service skills, both over the phone and via email.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment while managing conflicting priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Candidates with experience in the lifting equipment industry are preferred, but full training will be provided.
