About the Role
The Financial Reporting Advisory Senior is an excellent opportunity for a newly or soon to be Qualified Accountant looking to develop their career in a supportive but challenging environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Practice, in an Accounts or Audit capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare statutory financial statements for clients, including consolidated financial statements, in accordance with both UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Work with other teams on the delivery of statutory financial statements and advisory work.
- Play a key role in accounting advisory projects on the application and interpretation of accounting standards.
- Manage your schedule to ensure deadlines and budgets are met and work is completed to a high standard.
- Delegate work to Assistants and offer support as required.
- Coch and develop Assistants, offering feedback as necessary.
- Liaise with clients and build effective relationships.
Requirements
- An inquisitive and curious mind.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- A desire to achieve high levels of client service.
- An interest in Financial Reporting and developments within financial reporting.
- A motivation to develop your own technical knowledge.
- An Accountancy qualification, ICAS/ACCA or equivalent. Finalists will be considered.
