About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our Redbridge Mental Health and Wellbeing Team South. This is a female-only role, working as part of a dynamic team to support individuals with Severe & Enduring Mental Health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work on their own initiative, supporting peers and the team leader in ensuring people with Severe & Enduring Mental Health take up annual health checks.
  • Refer onto specialist services where any anomalies arise, while maintaining close collaboration with mental health professionals regarding Recovery principles.
  • Support collaborative working by actively liaising with other health and social care professionals, particularly Primary Care Network staff.
  • Complete Health Screens for service users with severe mental illness, inputting and transferring records from NELFT RIO to GP databases (EMIS).
  • Manage all administrative duties for the clinic, including booking appointments, sending reminders, and following up as needed.

About You

  • You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and service users.
  • Strong organizational abilities, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • A commitment to collaborative working, patient-centered care, and continuous professional development.

What We Offer

  • An estimated salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
