Specifications Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Specifications Manager to join our team at MTrec Technical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the entire specification process for products, from initial request to final specification completed.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain relationships with all UK Customers and act as the primary point of contact for all customer queries.
- Manage the specification process for products, ensuring compliance with food labelling and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with sourcing entities for manufacturing sites supplying UK customers.
- Responsible for maintaining all customer portals and ensuring technical artwork approval for UK produced products.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the R&D team and ensure the specification generation process is completed efficiently.
- Track and manage the specification and cost of doing business budget.
- Manage all UK customer KPI data and ensure compliance with retailer practices and frameworks.
- Degree or HND in Food Technology or equivalent.
- Level 3 Food Safety and Level 3 HACCP certifications.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft packages) and SharePoint experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a managerial role in a FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 2 years experience of managing a specification process within the Food Industry.
- Minimum 2 years experience in UK Retailer supplier food manufacturing environment.
