We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate leader to join our team as a Registered Service Manager at Consensus in Preston. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Black Bull service, which provides residential living support to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Your Role

As a Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Enabling the people we support to lead fulfilling lives and maximize their independence.
  • Prioritizing the wellbeing of the team and providing them with the necessary tools and opportunities to excel in their roles.
  • Ensuring the service is run efficiently and responsibly, balancing budget achievement with quality excellence.
  • Effectively managing financial performance and ensuring financial resources are appropriately managed and controlled.
  • Promoting quality assurance and working towards legal, clinical, statutory, and organizational obligations.
  • Ensuring full and accurate reporting of management information and maximizing quality and compliance.
  • Meeting the requirement to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or complex behaviors.
  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, with support and training towards Level 4 and 5 available.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Confidence, flexibility, and efficiency, with the ability to work on a shift basis and be on call when required.
  • A commitment to providing person-centered care that provides equitable opportunities to all individuals.
