Are you passionate about providing exceptional care and companionship to individuals in their own homes? Cera Care is seeking a Companionship Care Worker to join their team in the Huddersfield area.

About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity with flexible shifts available, including mornings, days, evenings, and nights. You will be working closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored support and companionship to enhance their quality of life.

Salary & Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £25,600, based on a 30-hour workweek at £12.50 per hour for weekdays and £13.00 per hour for weekends. Our benefits package includes:

  • Enhanced bank holiday rate of £18.75 (£25.00 Christmas & New Year)

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing companionship and support to individuals in their own homes
  • Assisting with personal care, including continence support and washing and dressing
  • Managing medications and cooking or preparing hot meals
  • Helping with domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle for work
  • No previous experience required; we provide comprehensive training
  • A kind and compassionate nature, with excellent communication skills
