Adult's Registered Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Registered Manager to lead our care team and oversee the day-to-day management of our domiciliary care services. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive leadership to the team, ensuring each member fully understands their roles and responsibilities, enabling them to carry out their duties safely and effectively.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the staff within the care team, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
- Efficiently allocate resources and monitor performance to guarantee the provision of high-quality care for all clients.
- Act as the primary point of communication with clients, their families, staff, and other health and social care professionals, fostering strong relationships and ensuring a seamless service.
Client Care and Assessment
- Lead on the assessment of new clients and the setup of their care packages, ensuring services are tailored to meet individual needs.
- Ensure the safe and effective delivery of care in line with legislative requirements and company policies.
Service Safety and Quality
- Maintain full and accurate records, ensuring compliance with company procedures and legal requirements.
- Oversee the governance of the service, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met, and identify areas for development and improvement.
- Conduct investigations relating to service quality and implement improvements where necessary.
Staff Management
- Oversee the recruitment, induction, and training of care workers, ensuring that all staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide safe, effective care.
- Oversee ongoing training needs, appraisals, and staff performance reviews, ensuring that best practices are followed.
- Provide guidance, supervision, and support to staff, ensuring high standards of care are consistently upheld.
On-Call Responsibilities
- Participate in the on-call rota, ensuring continuity of service and support for both staff and clients.
Business Growth and Promotion
- Actively contribute to the growth and development of the business, working closely with the Director to achieve business targets.
- Focus on customer retention and satisfaction, striving to deliver the best service in the sector.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or in a similar role.
- A strong understanding of person-centred care and a commitment to delivering excellent support to clients.
- Ideally, NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care, although candidates with Level 4 or equivalent qualifications will also be considered.
- A valid driving license is required.
