About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior Manager to join our team at Center for Student Achievement Solutions. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of external audit clients, leading audit teams, and ensuring planned work is completed within agreed budget and timescales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues, providing a year-round service that meets their needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a number of audit teams, ensuring planned work is completed within budget and timescales, and providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare and present reports to directors/partners and audit committees/boards, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Business Development: Be proactive in business development activities, developing and maintaining your own network, and participating in proposals and presentations for new work.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards, with a good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified ACA, ICAS, or ACCA.
  • Experience: A good understanding of charity audits and the not-for-profit sector, including the Charities SORP.
  • Skills: Strong people management and leadership skills, with the ability to support, coach, and mentor more junior colleagues.
