Are you a skilled Mandarin speaker with a passion for accounting? We have an exciting opportunity for a Mandarin Speaking Accounting Professional to join our client's Finance Department in London.
Job Summary:As a Mandarin Speaking Accounting Professional, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance Department with day-to-day processing demands, regulatory information, reporting, and maintenance of finance records.
- Purchase Ledger processing, invoices/credits/payments;
- Responsible for the Head Office audit liaison and to prepare necessary material for audit;
- Prepare bank nostro reconciliation on a termly basis;
- Following up on outstanding items on daily Nostro Reconciliations;
- Fixed Asset record maintenance;
- Handling incoming finance telephone queries including from creditors;
- Assisting with preparing reports (MI & Head Office & Regulatory report if necessary);
- Relative accounting reconciliation to assist with regulatory reporting submissions;
- Ad-hoc finance or clerical duties as required.
Requirements:
- Spoken and written Mandarin to native level, with fluent English;
- Previous Accounting experience in Banking/Finance/Big 4 sector;
- Excellent level of working knowledge in MS Excel;
- Familiarity with Banking Regulatory reports and asset & liability analysis;
- ACCA qualified or part qualified is desirable.
