Senior Financial Analyst Position

Employment and Social Development Canada is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and developing recommendations to improve our financial performance.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 7 months of experience in a similar role. You will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Responsibilities will include calculating fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining financial records, and establishing and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. You will also be responsible for posting journal entries and preparing other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
