Senior Trade Union Leadership Role

We are seeking an accomplished senior-level professional to join our team as Assistant Director, Employment Relations and Union Services. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a third Assistant Director and contribute to the development and delivery of our strategy and overall work as a trade union.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our team of Senior Negotiating Officers and Legal Officer, working closely with other trade unions across health and public services, and deputising for the Director of Employment Relations and Union Services.
This is a full-time, permanent position, and we are also hiring a part-time temporary role. Please ensure you are applying to the relevant job posting.
About YouWe are looking for an individual with extensive experience in trade unions and high-level negotiations. A proven track record in managing and leading teams is essential.
You should be a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities, paired with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including expertise in advocacy, presentations, and public speaking.
Additionally, you must have in-depth knowledge of the key issues currently impacting our members and other healthcare professionals, along with a comprehensive understanding of UK-wide health policies.
