About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Trade Union Leadership Role. As a key member of our union services team, you will work closely with staff, reps, and members across the wider CSP to deliver our strategy and ensure excellent support to our 65,000 members at work.
Successful applicants will be central to the development and delivery of the CSP's strategy and overall work as a trade union, including delivery of services to members, leading our team of Senior Negotiating Officers and Legal Officer, and working closely with other trade unions across health and public services.
This role will also offer the opportunity to deputise for the Director of Employment Relations and Union Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the CSP's strategy and overall work as a trade union
- Lead our team of Senior Negotiating Officers and Legal Officer
- Work closely with other trade unions across health and public services
- Deputise for the Director of Employment Relations and Union Services
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of the key issues currently impacting CSP members and other healthcare professionals
- Comprehensive understanding of UK-wide health policies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
