About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our Same Day Emergency Care team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating the assessment, investigation, and clinical review of patients referred to our service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new pathways to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Work closely with the SDEC team to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources
  • Collaborate with other specialties, including Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, and Neurology, to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in clinical audits and research projects to drive quality improvement and innovation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • ALS certification
  • Experience in Emergency Medicine and Acute Medicine at FY2/ST1/2 level with a minimum of one year post Foundation training
  • Strong clinical skills, including the ability to assess and manage patients with complex conditions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
