**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled midwife to join our team at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. This exciting opportunity allows you to provide high-quality community-based antenatal and postnatal care to mothers and families in the area.

As a registered midwife with current UK registration and NMC PIN, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans that prioritize communication, informed consent, and relationship building.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively independently and within a team. You will also possess strong IT skills and be able to use initiative to ensure seamless delivery of care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver holistic, research-based care to women and families across the pregnancy and postnatal journey
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, patients, and families
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Contribute to professional and personal development through ongoing education and training

**Requirements:**

  • Registered Midwife with current UK registration and NMC PIN
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
  • Strong IT skills and ability to use initiative
  • Good time management and prioritization skills
