Kurdish Language Specialist Wanted in North East England

We are seeking a highly skilled Kurdish language specialist to join our team of interpreters at Language Empire. As a freelance interpreter, you will have the opportunity to work with various clients across different sectors, including healthcare, local authorities, and private organizations.
About the RoleThis is a self-employed position that offers flexible working hours and competitive rates. You will be responsible for interpreting between Kurdish and English, ensuring accurate communication and cultural sensitivity. The ideal candidate will possess excellent language skills, both written and spoken, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Interpreting services for clients in various settings, including face-to-face, telephone, and video conferencing
- Translation services for documents and other written materials
- Liaising with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth communication and coordination
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues or concerns
- Fluent in Kurdish and English, both spoken and written
- Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages or equivalent experience
- Possession of a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or Community Interpreting
- Registration with NRPSI, CIOL, or ITI is an advantage
- Able to work independently and manage own time effectively
