Resolute Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering goods to clients across the UK. The ideal candidate will have a valid HGV Class 2 driving licence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Salary

The salary for this role is £15.00 per hour when temporary and £16.00 per hour with a £150 monthly bonus when permanent.

Job Description

This is a local and long distance delivery driver opportunity that involves driving a rigid vehicle (7.5T) on a daily basis. Your primary responsibility will be to transport goods safely and efficiently from one location to another. You will be required to pick up orders at various locations and handball items to clients' premises. This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure timely deliveries and meet client expectations.

Shift Pattern

The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday with a start time of 06:00. The working hours will vary depending on the number of drops scheduled each day.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid HGV Class 2/Category LGV C driving licence
  • Valid in-date CPC & Digi cards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • No more than 6 points on your driving licence for insurance purposes
