Job Title: Supply Chain Contract Manager

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Contract Manager to join our team at Loom Talent. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for managing and developing key client accounts, ensuring high levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction.

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional who is passionate about logistics and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years 3PL Contract Logistics experience, ideally within a customer-facing role. Proven experience as a Contract Manager/Account Manager within the 3PL space is advantageous. Strong understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution, is essential.

A strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions is also required. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop key client accounts to ensure high levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships and understanding their logistics needs.
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of solutions.
  • Analyse client data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive growth and profitability.

Requirements:

  • A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background - Essential.
  • Minimum of 5+ years 3PL Contract Logistics experience, ideally within a customer-facing role - Essential.
  • Proven experience as a Contract Manager/Account Manager within the 3PL space - Advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution - Essential.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions - Essential.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-focused approach - Essential.
