Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and specifying electrical building services, including LV distribution, power, small power, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, nurse call, lightning protection, and controls.
You will work on a broad range of complex problems, managing challenging priorities and using professional judgment to respond to differing situations. Your duties will include:
Key Responsibilities:- Design and specification of electrical building services, including LV distribution, power, small power, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, nurse call, lightning protection, and controls.
- Application and use of low carbon technologies, including vehicle charging, PV, battery storage, and other sustainable solutions.
- Project management and delivery of electrical building service related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget to the quality expectations of the client.
- Supporting the electrical teams project manager in the effective delivery of all building service related projects.
- Managing external consultants in the delivery of projects, ensuring KPIs are met and quality is maintained.
- Liaising with other services within the client and across other disciplines within the building design team and wider asset management service.
- Providing specialist advice and guidance to internal and external customers, making technical and professional recommendations within the electrical discipline.
- Supporting the principal M&E engineer in the delivery of all building services related projects.
