Job Summary

Laboratory Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist to join our team. As a leading contract research organization, we provide comprehensive drug development solutions for a range of industries. In this role, you will be responsible for reporting and interpreting pathology data from all types of toxicity studies.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on anatomic and clinical pathology requirements in toxicity studies.
  • Supervise necropsies, ensuring proper dissection, sampling, and preservation of tissues.
  • Evaluate and interpret tissue sections from toxicology studies, correlating findings with necropsy, organ weight, and clinical pathology results.
  • Compile pathology narrative reports of microscopic and gross pathology findings, meeting report deadlines.
  • Maintain working relationships with internal and external clients to ensure client satisfaction with deliverables.

Requirements

  • Veterinary degree or equivalent qualification.
  • FRCPath or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in laboratory animal pathology.
  • Demonstrated expertise in evaluating pathology data from acute, subchronic, and chronic rodent toxicology studies.
