We are looking for an experienced Operations Assistant - Transport to join our team at Job&Talent in Chesterfield.

This role involves working closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and customer service teams to ensure smooth transport operations.

You will be responsible for various tasks including debriefing drivers, completing trackers, and liaising with the warehouse to provide accurate ETAs for stock arrival.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support drivers with debriefing and issue resolution
  • Complete and publish trackers to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure accurate ETAs for stock arrival and manage inventory effectively
  • Work with the customer service team to resolve transport-related issues at customer sites
  • Dispatch drivers with correct paperwork and documentation
  • Provide exceptional customer care and build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor routes to ensure timely completion and escalate any issues to the Team Manager as needed
  • Manage time effectively to complete tasks within set deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with driver hour regulations
