About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of audited entities, ensuring assignments are completed within agreed budgets and timescales, and identifying opportunities for additional billings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of audited entities, ensuring timely completion of assignments and identifying opportunities for additional billings.
  • Ensure assignments are staffed with the appropriate mix of knowledge and skills required.
  • Ensure that the firm's risk management and quality control procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Work as part of a management team with other Audit Managers within the business group.
  • Support Partners with the implementation and communication of any new business strategy for existing and target audit entities.

Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Previous experience operating at assistant manager level or above in a similar role.
  • Proven experience of managing a portfolio of clients and developing strong client relationships.
  • Proven broad audit experience in producing high-quality audits.
