About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geophysicist to join our team, responsible for conducting site investigations and providing high-quality data to support project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role (5 years + ) and possess relevant degree qualifications. A full driving licence is essential, as well as good physical fitness due to the nature of site work which requires considerable walking and lifting.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare projects based on customer requirements, assessing effective techniques prior to site work, ensuring quality, customer service, budget, and program requirements are met.
  • Collect good quality data using a wide range of techniques, including electromagnetics, magnetics, radio frequency location, GPR, seismics, ERI, and utility services detection.
  • Manage data quality in line with our client's QC procedures, utilizing specialist geophysical software and drawing packages such as AutoCAD 2015, Oasis Montaj, RES2DINV, Radan, and IDS-GRED.
  • Undertake all phases of reporting from factual through to interpretation and recommendations, focusing on customer requirements and quality.
  • Identify new ways of working to enhance technical capabilities or improve efficiency on site and in the office.
