Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Governance Officer to lead our organization's governance and planning efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving improvement and service excellence across the organization, shaping the future growth and sustainable development of the Highlands, and fostering a vibrant economy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the strategic direction of planning services and economic development in the Highlands.
- Develop and implement effective governance and planning strategies to drive improvement and service excellence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to foster a vibrant economy and enhance the quality of life for our communities.
- Educate to degree level with evidence of continuous professional development and preferably a further relevant professional qualification.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in governance and planning, with experience in leading and managing strategic initiatives. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. A degree in a relevant field and a further professional qualification would be an advantage.
