Commercial Vehicle Field Service Engineer Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Vehicle Field Service Engineer to join our team at GHA Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and advice to sales colleagues, as well as carrying out diagnostics and repairs at customers' sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service support for commercial vehicles, electric drive, and bus transmissions
- Carry out diagnostics and repairs at customers' sites
- Carry out major unit exchanges
- Support OEMs as required
- Provide technical support and advice to sales colleagues
- Complete and submit paperwork together with engineering reports
- Maintenance stock levels
- Maintain company vehicle
Requirements:
- Completed an engineering apprenticeship as a minimum, preferred level 5 or higher qualification
- Mechatronics and multiskilled engineer with an electrical bias
- Background in field service engineering
- Experience with electrical vehicles
- Working knowledge of zero emission vehicles, electrical drive / fuel cell
- Experience with high voltage vehicle systems
- Working knowledge of variable speed electric drives and control systems
- Good IT skills
- A Full UK Driving Licence
What We Offer:
- 50k to 60k depending on experience
- Hours are Mon-Thurs 08:00 to 17:00 and Fri 07:00 to 15:30, a 41 hour week
