Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are excited to be working with an amazing client on multiple positions. As a Recruitment Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for positions across various levels within the business unit.
About the Role: As a People Resourcing Advisor, you will be pivotal in sourcing, attracting, and selecting candidates with the technical expertise and safety-oriented mindset needed to thrive in the Industrial Services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Recruitment Process: Oversee the recruitment and resourcing process from initial requisition through onboarding, including job postings, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, and hiring.
- Proactive Sourcing: Source qualified candidates using various methods, including job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and recruitment events.
- Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Brand Promotion: Assist in promoting the company's brand and reputation within the Industrial Services sector to attract higher calibre talent.
- Talent Pool Management: Build and maintain a talent pool for future hiring needs, particularly for high-demand positions.
- Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with Employment Law and internal policies.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics.
- Onboarding Coordination: Work closely with the onsite People & Training and Operations Department to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Job Description Development: Work with Operations and Hiring Managers to understand recruitment needs and build job descriptions.
- HR System Maintenance: Maintain our HR System from a recruitment perspective, raising requisitions and managing the pipeline.
- Job Board Utilisation: Utilise job boards such as our Careers Site, Indeed, and LinkedIn.
- Agency Spend Reduction: Work to reduce agency spend. Where applicable, collaborate with recruitment agencies when necessary, negotiating terms and ensuring quality service delivery.
- Innovative Recruitment: Explore new ways of recruiting to ensure we are maximising the talent pool.
- Internal Relationship Building: Develop and maintain internal relationships to ensure a thorough understanding of internal recruitment requirements.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A self-starter with a proactive approach to sourcing talent and problem-solving.
- CIPD or related HR qualification is desirable.
This role will require you to commute by bus to the site and is working 5 days a week on site with the potential flexibility for the ideal candidate.
