ANGLE Plc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our team in Guildford. As a key member of our clinical molecular profiling lab, you will be responsible for setting up and implementing new technologies, validating and running molecular profiling assays, and ensuring quality and regulatory compliance of all procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a small team and oversee the implementation of new technologies and assays
- Participate in the validation and running of molecular profiling assays
- Ensure quality and regulatory compliance of all procedures
- Oversee management of allocated data transfer agreements, statements of work, and master service agreements
- Establish data handling systems for handling complex NGS data and reporting through LIMS
- Monitor operational performance and implement necessary improvements
- PhD in relevant biomedical sciences with proven post-doctoral experience or equivalent in oncology and NGS/molecular biology
- Demonstrated expertise in molecular profiling using NGS and ddPCR in a clinical lab setting
- Ability to analyse complex NGS and clinical data with competency in statistical analysis
- Experience in operating to Medical Laboratories standard ISO15189:2022 and applicable normative references
- Strong leadership and communication skills
