Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the Contract Manager to survey sites and assess the scope of work. They will assist in the planning and organisation of project tasks, oversee and coordinate all site operations to ensure smooth project delivery, collaborate with contract managers, engineers, and clients to develop effective project solutions, conduct regular site inspections to ensure projects meet quality standards and specifications, manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery, and address site-related challenges proactively to maintain project progress.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have proven experience in construction site management, ideally within infrastructure or SRN projects. Knowledge of working on the Strategic Road Network (SRN) is essential. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills for managing complex projects. Familiarity with construction-related software and technology is advantageous. Relevant certifications and qualifications in construction management (CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS) are also desirable. Rail competence (PTS) is beneficial, as occasional rail support may be required.

This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
