Job Title: MEP Health and Safety Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:

PW Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced MEP Health and Safety Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees and clients on MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Health and Safety Programs: Create and implement comprehensive health and safety programs specific to MEP activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Health and Safety Documentation: Maintain and review all health and safety documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and CPP documentation.
  • Site Monitoring and Audits: Conduct regular health and safety audits on MEP sites, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate incidents and accidents, determining root causes and implementing corrective measures.
  • Safety Training and Awareness: Provide safety training and implement safety training programs for all personnel, ensuring a strong understanding of safety practices and procedures.
  • Health and Safety Records and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date health and safety records and documentation, preparing detailed incident reports as needed.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualification with proof of certificate(s).
  • Experience: Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in the MEP industry.
  • Skills: Ability to conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed reports.
