Job Description

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Brightwork Ltd. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products by conducting inspections and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of machined parts, including non-destructive testing (NDT), to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Complete all relevant documentation and reports, including inspection records and test results.
  • Identify and report any non-conformities or defects, and assist in the investigation and resolution of quality issues.
  • Assist in the calibration of measuring equipment and ensure that all records are up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure that quality and compliance procedures are followed.
  • Assist in the training and development of new employees and apprentices.
  • Report any methods or procedures to improve quality and efficiency to management.

Requirements:

  • HNC/C&G or NVQ level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • CMM experience (Bridge & Mobile Arm) – preferred but training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly professional conduct and a high standard of personal and process safety.
