As a Submarines Weights Engineer at BAE Systems, you will play a critical role in supporting the Company's programme for submarines and surface ships. This involves calculation and monitoring of weights and centres from project concept to vessel delivery.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on a portion of the vessel, ensuring that all requirements are met and exceeded. The estimated salary for this position is £23,100 per annum.

Key ResponsibilitiesSome of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Preparing data for technical and production departments
- Undertaking functional design and providing specialist advice and qualification of your scope of responsibility
- Producing evidence in support of qualification, legislative requirements, and safety justifications
- Contributing to the identification and rapid closure of issues emerging from all product lifecycle stages
Additionally, you will be responsible for liaising with both internal and external customers as required, ensuring that their requirements are adequately supported and that their needs are fully considered and incorporated where appropriate.
