Job Title: Traffic Management Operative

Streetwise UK Management, part of RSK Group, is seeking a qualified Traffic Management Operative to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

We provide high and low-speed traffic management and event solutions to blue-chip companies, major utility providers, and public sector organizations. Our focus is to manage road networks to reduce congestion, disruption, and changing travel behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploying and maintaining temporary traffic management equipment, including cones, signs, frames, and sandbags on low-speed roads.
  • Conducting traffic counts, making calls to clients and subcontractors, and recording timings and near misses.
  • Maintaining temporary traffic lights and assisting new trainees.
Person Specification:
  • M1 / M2 or SLG Unit 2 / 10 qualification as a minimum.
  • Knowledge of Chapter 8.
  • Able to pass a safety critical worker medical and drug and alcohol test.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a full clean UK driving licence.
Desirable:
  • NRSWA M7 and 12A Foreman licenses.
