Traffic Management Operative Role
We are seeking a skilled Traffic Management Operative to join our team at Go Traffic Management Careers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of traffic management schemes for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all methods of traffic management, including give and take, priority, stop/go boards, portable traffic signals, convoy working, road closures, lane closures, and diversions.
- Ensure all work is carried out according to safe working methods and best practice procedures.
- Carry out risk assessments and method statements on works involving traffic management.
- Identify areas for improvement and report to your line manager.
- Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Requirements:
- Experience in traffic management or a related field.
- Ability to work flexibly, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
