Obstetrician Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with Consultants and other specialist teams to ensure the efficient running of services
- Assist with service improvements and the development of business plans to inform the future strategic direction
- Participate in clinical meetings and postgraduate activities in the Trust
- Share your expertise as an educational or clinical supervisor to junior doctors in training
- Provide bedside and teaching for Junior Doctors and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Participate in a Friday afternoon formal teaching rota based on RCOG curriculum, new guidelines, and research
- Assist in PROMPT course training annually
- Undertake personal development and mandatory training
- MBBS or recognised equivalent
- Full GMC/GDC Registration
- At least four years' full-time postgraduate training in a relevant specialty or equivalent experience and competencies
- Evidence of appraisal and revalidation within GMC guidelines
- Teaching of junior medical staff, nursing staff
