Obstetrician Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the efficient running of services and the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Participate in clinical meetings and postgraduate activities to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in obstetrics and gynaecology.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with nursing, professional, and technical staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development of business plans and service improvements to inform the future strategic direction of our department.
- Provide educational and clinical supervision to junior doctors in training, including induction, formal appraisals, and career advice.
- Participate in a Friday afternoon formal teaching rota based on the RCOG curriculum, new guidelines, and research.
- Assist in PROMPT course training annually and undertake personal development and mandatory training.
