We are seeking a skilled and flexible chef to join our team. As a Relief/Agency Chef, you will be responsible for carrying out chef duties in a professional and credible manner.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional chef experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Basic Food Hygiene and Allergens Certificate.
  • Proven knife skills and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Driving license and own transport to commute to different assignments.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be confident and competent in working in high-volume and demanding environments. You should have experience in a banqueting or a la carte background and be able to follow menu specifications.

You will be responsible for operating and managing a kitchen section or in some cases, the kitchen. You will need to monitor and maintain the quality of the food produced and ensure that the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health & safety guidelines.

What We Offer

In return for your skills and experience, we offer an hourly pay rate between £13.50 and £19.50. This is an excellent opportunity to test your skills and experience within a variety of different establishments. You will have the opportunity to work additional hours on weekdays and weekends, maximizing your earning potential.

We are looking for a candidate who can provide quality food and work as part of a team delivering service excellence. You will need to operate with a can-do attitude and maintain the highest levels of professionalism.
