Your day-to-day will involve reviewing performance, identifying operational efficiencies, and leading investigations into water quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing performance of our Water Treatment Works and participating in water quality improvement initiatives.
  • Identifying and supporting the delivery of operational efficiencies (chemical, energy).
  • Leading investigations into water quality issues and failures at Surface Water Works.
  • Completing the water treatment element of Drinking Water Safety Plan (DWSP) audits.
  • Identifying and reducing water quality risks.
  • Identifying, developing, setting standards, and delivering training for on-site testing and process knowledge development.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone with a degree in a scientific discipline and excellent technical knowledge of water treatment processes. You'll need to be able to interpret trends, understand consequences, and have recent experience of commissioning, plant optimisation, and providing process support.
