About the Role

RPS is seeking an experienced Arboriculturist to join our team in the Landscape Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will work on a wide range of projects across various sectors in the UK, providing expert advice on tree-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct tree surveys and condition assessments in accordance with BS5837 and other relevant standards.
  • Prepare and collate tree-related reports, schedules, and plans, including tree surveys, impact assessments, and method statements.
  • Provide expert advice on tree health and condition, and develop strategies for tree management and conservation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver successful project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Qualified member of The Arboricultural Association and/or The Institute of Chartered Foresters.
  • Preferably a Level 4 Arboricultural qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent tree identification skills and knowledge of tree morphology and management.
  • Experience in conducting tree surveys and preparing reports, including impact assessments and method statements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, GIS, or similar tree-related software.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills.
