**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Fellowship in Emergency and Community Medicine at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

Job Summary:

  • This is a 1 or 2 year, full time Fellowship in Emergency & Community Prehospital Emergency Medicine.
  • The successful candidate will work at the Welsh Major Trauma Centre (MTC) and on the Welsh Enhanced Care Response unit (WECRU).
  • The individual will spend 50% of their time in hospital and 50% of their time prehospital.

Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and gain first-hand experience in PHEM.
  • Participate in PHEM governance and quality improvement projects.
  • Work in a well-staffed and supportive hospital team containing 25 Consultants and 13 Registrars in Emergency Medicine.

Requirements:

  • Eligible candidates must be GMC registered doctors with at least 18 months experience of working in Emergency Medicine in the UK as a middle grade.
  • The ideal candidate will also have experience in Paediatric Emergency Medicine, Anaesthesia, Intensive Care Medicine and Acute General Medicine.

Salary and Benefits:**

  • A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
