The Post:

The Associate Directorate role is a dynamic and challenging position. The successful candidate will provide senior leadership to a multidisciplinary team responsible for commissioning National Specialist Services and National Planning for Scotland.

This is a senior position within NSD, playing a leading role in implementing key Scottish Government strategies and delivering National Specialist Services. The postholder will work with NHS Board colleagues, Scottish Government Health and Social Care Directorates, and health professionals across Scotland to ensure high-quality services are provided.

The Candidate:

You should have a proven track record of clinical and managerial experience at a senior level within an NHS environment. Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills are essential, as is experience of planning at a strategic level and proven negotiation skills.
