Occupational Health Advisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Health Advisor to join our team at Ramsay Health Care UK. As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing a comprehensive service to our employees, ensuring their health and wellbeing in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating Occupational Health Link Nurses activities
  • Working closely with a central On-boarding Team
  • Collaborating with local Human Resource coordinators

Key Duties:

  • Pre-placement screening
  • Health surveillance
  • Case management
  • Post exposure management of medical sharps injuries

Contribution to the Team:

  • The development and review of occupational health policies
  • Clinical audit of OH processes
  • Audit of management of health risks
  • Investigation of work-related ill-health on site
  • Supporting the Flu vaccination campaign

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse and Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Occupational Health) with extensive experience in occupational health provision in the health care sector. A full UK driving license is essential, and the candidate will be required to undertake regular travel to Ramsay facilities in Essex and Hertfordshire, as well as attend meetings in our central offices in Bedford and London.
