About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Lead to join our vibrant school community. This role is pivotal in shaping the educational journey of our youngest learners, ensuring they develop a strong foundation in their academic and social growth.

The successful candidate will oversee the EYFS team, driving high standards of teaching and learning. They will plan, deliver, and assess a dynamic and engaging EYFS curriculum, fostering a safe and stimulating environment that supports children's development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the EYFS team, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive EYFS curriculum, incorporating best practices and innovative approaches.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and external partners, promoting holistic development and a love for learning.
  • Monitor progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to ensure every child meets their developmental milestones.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and substantial experience within the EYFS phase.
  • Proven leadership skills, with a track record of driving educational outcomes and improving student attainment.
  • A creative and adaptable approach to teaching, with strong knowledge of early childhood pedagogy and a commitment to continuous professional development.
