Senior Conveyancing Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Conveyancing Assistant to join our team at Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our conveyancing team, ensuring the smooth processing of conveyancing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting Reports: Draft reports from precedents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Client and Third-Party Enquiries: Respond to client and third-party enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Mortgage Funds Processing: Process applications for mortgage funds, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Completion Statements: Prepare completion statements, ensuring all relevant information is included.
  • Initial Instructions: Deal with initial instructions, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Client ID Checks: Process client ID checks, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Post-Completion Matters: Deal with post-completion matters, including SDLT returns and HMLRC requirements.
Requirements:
  • Conveyancing Experience: Ideally, candidates will have 1 year's conveyancing experience.
  • Microsoft Packages: Experience of Microsoft packages is essential.
  • Conveyancing Knowledge: Reasonable knowledge of conveyancing processes and procedures is required.
  • Transaction Experience: Experience dealing with all types of conveyancing transactions is essential.
Education:
  • Qualifications: 2 or more A levels or equivalent are required.
  • GCSEs: 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics, are required.
