About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Restorative Justice Practitioner to join our team in Thames Valley. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality restorative justice services to victims and offenders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver restorative justice practices, including direct and indirect processes, to support victims and offenders in Thames Valley.
  • Work closely with victims, offenders, and other stakeholders to assess, update, and mitigate risk, including risk information held by partner agencies.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including victims, offenders, and partner agencies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of restorative justice policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in restorative justice.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a restorative justice setting, including direct and indirect processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with victims, offenders, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to assess, update, and mitigate risk, including risk information held by partner agencies.
  • Knowledge of restorative justice principles and practices, including the criminal justice journey of victims and offenders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.
