About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Restorative Justice Practitioner to join our team in Thames Valley. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality restorative justice services to victims and offenders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver restorative justice services to victims and offenders, including direct and indirect processes.
  • Assess, update, and mitigate risk, including risk information held by partner agencies.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including victims, offenders, and partner agencies.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues and partner agencies on restorative justice principles and practices.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of restorative justice policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in delivering restorative justice services, including direct and indirect processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advisory skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the criminal justice system, including the principles and practices of restorative justice.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Experience of working within a multi-agency framework, including partner agencies and stakeholders.
