About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Primary SEN Class Teacher to join our team at Easthorpe School. As a Special Education Needs Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons within the national curriculum, meeting the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting on pupils' progress and concerns, and liaising with other School staff to ensure pupils' needs are met
- Supervision of pupils during non-classroom time, including extra-curricular activities and school trips
- Building positive relationships with your pupils and driving interaction and positive learning outcomes
Requirements
- Hold qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Have a strong basic education to degree level
- Previous successful Primary and SEND teaching experience
- Previous experience of working with pupils with SEMH within an Educational setting
- Committed to professional development and willing to learn
