Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Building Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep of our historic and prestigious buildings in North Scotland.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing building maintenance teams, with a strong focus on health and safety, budget management, and excellent communication skills.

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of organization, problem-solving, and technical expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and improving the overall condition of our buildings through effective planning, prioritization, and resource allocation.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders, including facilities managers, architects, and engineers, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Collaborating with external contractors and suppliers to deliver high-quality services within budget and timeframe.
  • Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for continuous improvement.
