We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Social Care Trainer to join our team.

As a Health and Social Care Trainer, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to Level 5 (Lead Adult Care Worker).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and supporting learners to achieve their goals
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted
  • Organising and maintaining documentation on learners' progress
  • Supporting, advising and motivating learners
  • Overcoming barriers to learning and adapting delivery to meet learners' needs

Requirements:

  • Hold either a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) OR a Level 3 Teaching Qualification such as PTLLS / AET
  • Must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care as a minimum
  • Ideally have experience of assessing Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care / Adult Care
  • Hold solid occupational experience within Health and Social Care at Deputy Manager level or above
  • Must have a good level of ICT skills
  • Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle
  • Must be flexible with travel and also remote home working
